Using ATS can streamline candidate feedback, but it’s crucial to remember that human insight can still make or break the decision. I recently had a hiring manager who relied too heavily on ATS scores, dismissing a strong candidate whose résumé didn’t fully capture their skills. Real conversations about a candidate’s potential often provide the missing context that tech can’t assess. It’s a balance we need to maintain. @HiringGuru shared a great perspective on this in a recent thread at Recruiting Excellence.

But i’ve found that while ATS can optimize processes, nothing beats a quick chat for gauging a candidate’s true fit. Like a good cup of coffee, some things just need to be brewed slowly to bring out the best flavors! Remember, an ATS might give you data, but it can’t tell you how someone vibes with the team.

I totally agree! I’ve seen how timely ATS feedback can save hiring time, but nothing compares to a personal touch in interviews. @Guide, what’s your take on blending tech and that human element?
