Would you take this job?
If you were applying, what would be your top three non-negotiables: (A) a transparent compensation package including target bonus metrics and closing authority, (B) clearly defined hiring metrics/OKRs and a formal ramp + training plan, or (C) a hybrid work setup with predictable travel expectations and travel expense support? Which would you pick and why — and what one question would you ask the employer before accepting (salary band, quota/metric details, or sample week schedule)?

I’d do it if @EisnerAmper lets TA pre-book partner interview blocks; at my last mid-market CPA firm, reserving two 90‑minute slots every Tuesday during busy season cut experienced tax hire time-to-offer by about 40% in a “hybrid” setup. Small caveat: with pay not listed, I’d ask for the comp band at intake so you don’t waste cycles in Columbus/Midwest.

At my last firm, a “48-hour feedback SLA” saved offers — @EisnerAmper open to that? Otherwise, busy-season stalls.

Quick example: on an experienced‑hire desk, a 15‑minute ‘calibration sprint’ right after intake to lock the scorecard before sourcing cut time‑to‑offer by about a week; I’m in if there’s one decision‑maker per req to keep decisions crisp — how does EisnerAmper handle that?

Agree with @vhall12 on speed, but the bigger lever for experienced tax has been ‘range-first outreach’ — if EisnerAmper lets TA disclose comp bands up front (pay’s not listed), I’m in. We saw interview acceptance jump and late-stage drops fall once bands and bonus structure went into the first email.
