Evaluating Soft Skills in Technical Interviews

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to effectively assess soft skills during technical interviews… Recently, I attended a workshop where we explored role-playing scenarios to gauge candidates’ communication and teamwork abilities. It made me realize there’s a rich spectrum of skills we often overlook while focusing on technical prowess. How does everyone else balance this in their recruiting practices?

I totally get where you’re coming from! I used role-playing in a recent interview, and it really revealed how candidates handle pressure and communicate. Sometimes it’s easy to overlook those skills in the rush to assess technical abilities.
